Really happy to see all the Digital Yacht assets coming together. A lot of hard work has gone into this and it's looking great.

Umbrella ports is an idea that came from being caught in the rain. There would be ports dotted around a city so you could borrow an umbrella when it started to rain, and put it back for the next user. The brand is really fun, honest and bold to communicate trust and togetherness.
Produced these Art Deco inspired New Years Eve designs working very closely with Generation Press. We used three layers of black over the Gold Majestic From GF Smith to get the right impact of gold. I will make a longer post about the process soon, but I couldn't help putting up some teaser photos.
Be warned The Somerset House, Clifton, New Years Eve party is going to be one to remember. The site is currently being built and populated, thought I would put up some shots of the home page. Pretty excited about seeing it live.
Some point of sale material I was commissioned to design recently. The plinth is cut from valchromat with two grooves milled into it so that the foamex boards can slide in. This makes it very easy to update the graphics as well as the POS being easily put together needing no tools. This is completely flat pack point of sale.
Some photos of the information graphic I produced recently. It is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 100% Cotton Rag, pH neutral, Acid Free art paper, and a Clear Self cling from Folex: Folex Digiprint - IG/CLSC Clear Self adhereing 0.275mm.
Haven't opened cinema in a while and thought I would play around with some 3D type, using the random mograph effector. I then used photoshop to add in a background and colour the type a bit more. Check out Greyscale Gorilla for loads of tutorials.
**Wish I rendered it with more fillet cap regions, they are a bit sharp. These limited edition letterpress prints will be available on Ebay and Big Cartel soon. The white is printed on 100gsm ebony colorplan from GF Smith, the red and is printed on 118gsm Mohawk superfine white eggshell from GF Smith. The prints have been letterpressed on a Vandercook. The main type is set in a form of condensed Grot. The caption is set in univers bold and univers medium italic. There are 20 white on black and 25 red, numbered on the top right and signed on the back. You can see the process below, there is a photo of the back so you can see the deboss effect. The quote comes from the British character driven comedy Red Dwarf. It is the catch phrase of Ace Rimmer, the alter ego of Rimmer. |
